FAQ
Your questions, answered honestly
How much does jet washing cost?
It depends on three things: the size of the area, the surface type, and how heavily soiled it is. A small path is very different from a double driveway that hasn't been touched in ten years.
Rather than guess, we quote each job individually and confirm a fixed price before any work starts. Send a quick description through the form and we'll come back with a real number.
How long will the job take?
A typical domestic driveway or patio takes two to five hours. If you've added re-sanding and sealing, or the area is large, allow a full day. We'll tell you the expected timing when we quote.
Do I need to be at home?
No. We just need access to an outside tap and ideally an outdoor socket. Plenty of customers are at work while we clean — we send before and after photos when we finish and take payment afterwards.
Is it safe for plants, pets and my paving?
Yes. We match the pressure and method to the surface — soft washing for render and timber, higher pressure only where it's appropriate. Borders and planting are protected before we start and any treatments we use are biodegradable.
We do ask that pets stay indoors while the equipment is running.
What if it rains on the day?
Light rain makes no difference to the result — the surface is getting soaked anyway. If the weather is genuinely severe or unsafe we'll call you and rebook the first convenient slot, at no extra cost.
Will the moss and algae come straight back?
Not straight away. A clean alone typically stays looking good for one to two years. Adding a biocide treatment, re-sanding and sealing slows regrowth considerably and is well worth it on driveways — we'll price it as an option so you can decide.
How do I pay?
After the work is finished and you're happy with it. Bank transfer, card or cash — whatever suits. No deposit is taken for a standard domestic job.
How do you look after my property?
Yes — we hold full public liability insurance and we're happy to send the certificate before work begins. Just ask when we quote.

What we collect
- Details you submit in the quote form: job description, approximate size, phone number, and optionally your name, email, postcode and contact preferences.
- Basic anonymous usage data if you accept analytics cookies (pages viewed, approximate location, device type).
Why we use it
- To prepare and send your quote and, if you go ahead, to arrange and carry out the work. Lawful basis: performance of a contract or your consent.
- To keep basic records for accounting and insurance purposes. Lawful basis: legal obligation and legitimate interests.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Lawful basis: consent (analytics cookies only).
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries that don't proceed are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to completed work are kept for six years to meet UK accounting requirements.
Sharing
We never sell or rent your data. We only share it with service providers that help us operate — for example our email, hosting and messaging providers — and with HMRC or insurers where legally required.
Cookies
The site works without any non-essential cookies. Analytics cookies are only set if you press “Accept” on the cookie banner, and your choice is stored locally in your browser. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.

Terms & conditions
Quotes
Quotes are based on the information you give us and are valid for 30 days. If the area or condition differs materially from what was described, we'll discuss and agree any change with you before continuing — we never change the price without your say-so.
Access and preparation
Please ensure the area is clear of vehicles, furniture and personal items, and that an outside tap and, where possible, an outdoor socket are available. Windows and doors should be closed while we work.
Your property
We assess surfaces before cleaning and use appropriate methods, but we cannot accept liability for pre-existing defects such as loose, cracked or previously poorly laid paving, failing pointing, damaged sealant, or timber already rotten. We'll always flag anything of concern before starting.
Cancellation and weather
You can cancel or rearrange free of charge with 24 hours' notice. We may rearrange in severe weather and will offer the earliest alternative slot.
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted methods are bank transfer, card and cash.
Complaints
If you're not satisfied, tell us within seven days and we'll return to put it right wherever reasonably possible.
